Plot
After dismantling a human trafficking ring, former military investigator turned vigilante drifter Jack Reacher returns to his old military headquarters to meet Major Susan Turner, who he has been working with during his travels, only to learn from Colonel Sam Morgan that Turner has been accused of espionage and detained.

Turner's attorney, Colonel Bob Moorcroft, reveals that there is evidence that Turner is involved in the murders of two soldiers in Afghanistan, but Reacher believes she is being framed. Moorcroft also reveals an old acquaintance of Reacher, Candice Dayton, has filed a paternity suit against him, claiming he is the biological father of her 15-year-old daughter, Samantha Dayton. Reacher reaches out to Samantha, but she rebuffs him, believing he is after her biological mother due to her past as a drug addict.

Plot
In 2005, David Packouz lives in Miami, Florida, working as a massage therapist and living with his girlfriend Iz. Desiring an additional source of income, David spends his life savings on high-quality Egyptian cotton sheets, planning to sell them to Miami retirement homes, but this venture fails to produce results. At a funeral for a friend, David runs into his high school best friend Efraim Diveroli, who had moved to Los Angeles some years prior to work with his uncle selling guns. Efraim has left his uncle and formed his own company, AEY, which fills orders for arms placed by the US government due to the ongoing War in Iraq. David's life takes another turn when his girlfriend informs him that she is pregnant. Efraim offers him a job at AEY, and even though David and Iz both vehemently oppose the war, David eventually agrees, telling his girlfriend that he has begun selling his cotton sheets to the US government through Efraim's contacts.

Efraim explains to David that all orders placed for military equipment are posted on a public website, where anyone can place bids on filling the orders, and their job is to find the small orders that larger contractors do not bother with and place bids on them, with these smaller orders still being worth millions of dollars. A local small business owner, Ralph Slutzky, assists the business with funding, under the false belief that AEY only sells arms to help protect Israel. Eventually, David and Efraim land a contract to provide several thousand Beretta pistols to US Troops stationed in Baghdad, a deal that would put them on the map. Unfortunately, an Italian embargo blocks the shipment to Iraq, so Efraim attempts to route the shipment through Jordan, but the shipment gets held up there as well. With Iz discovering David's true business by overhearing a conversation between him and Efraim, leaving her upset, David and Efraim have to fly to Jordan to free up their cargo or risk being blacklisted by the US Government for failing to deliver.

Plot

Akira Sharma is a little girl in a small town who lives happily with her father and mother. One day, she witnesses a crime involving a group of unruly men ruthlessly throwing acid on a young woman's face. Akira helps police to catch the criminal, but the accomplices of the criminal swear vengeance. Akira's father realizes the importance of self defense and enrolls her in a self defense class. One day on her way to home, Akira notices gang members who scared her tease another girl. She beats them up, but one of them takes out a bottle of acid to throw acid on Akira. When it backfires on him, Akira is accused of throwing acid on his face and is sent to juvenile jail.

Fourteen years later, Akira has grown into a brave and headstrong young woman, but her father has died. Akira and her mom move in with her brother, who she hates because he left them to marry. Akira joins Holy Cross College and lives in hostel, as her mom decides to stay back with her brother, while taking care of his child. A couple of students try to bully her but end up learning the hard way to not mess with her. One night, an inspector runs into one of the college professors with his car and beats him up because the professor is upset about the policeman's behavior. The college students reach out to the commissioner with the aid of a strike. The police brutally beats them up and tries to move all of the students away; only Akira remains. She hands over the signed petition sheet and the information to the commissioner when he arrives.

Couple of days later, the same police man who hit the professor robs and kills a man. When he admits this on the phone at his girlfriend's place, she records his confession and decides to show it to her friends. At the last moment, her camera with all the information is stolen, and someone blackmail the policeman. All this makes the inspector nervous; he kills his girlfriend and begins researching who is behind this. This case is handled by ACP Rabiya because she knows it was a murder and not a suicide. One day, Akira finds a bag full of stolen items, including the camera, in front of her dorm. The policemen see her and take her away and decides to kill her. She sees three of the policemen kill two other men. The main ACP calls them and tells them they have the wrong girl, but because she saw everything to just shoot her. She escapes, goes to her principal, and tells him everything that has happened. He tells her he would love to help her but can only in the morning.

Suddenly, the cops take her away, and, with the help of a doctor, they give her shocks and injection in order to prove to the world that she is mentally unstable. She flees from the hospital with the help of another patient, Rani. She decides to prove her innocent but can only do so if one of the policemen speaks up. She kidnaps one, but she is caught by ACP himself. They try to kill her, but ACP Rabiya saves her. Rabiya is immediately stopped by the commissionaire because revealing the ACP can cause riots as the man killed by ACP in the car is brother of some strong politician . She has to let the case go and leave but tells Akira that everything will be OK, though she can not save her and she will be compensated for all this later on. Akira kills all of those corrupt inspectors after Rabiya leaves but still goes with the mental hospital to be proven mentally unstable when it occurs. She is released three months later. Akira decides to follow her dads footsteps by helping other kids.
